Salah satu perajin tempe yang konon pernah menggunakan pewarna tekstil tim Sigi dekati. Dari informasinya, tim Sigi mencari perajin tempe yang masih menggunakan pewarna tekstil dan berhasil. Berkat bantuan seorang narasumber tim Sigi, perajin itu bahkan bersedia mengungkap rahasia dapurnya membuat tempe yang dicurigai mengandung zat kimia berbahaya.<o:p></o:p></div><div class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle"><br />
</div><div class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle">Seperti yg telah diduga, serbuk pewarna yang berbahaya juga dibeli si perajin tempe nakal tersebut. Saat menaburi kedelai dengan ragi, si perajin tempe mengeluarkan senjata rahasianya, yaitu menaburi dua sampai tiga sendok serbuk pewarna ke dalam tong penampung kedelai. <b>Pala</b> (<i>Myristica fragrans</i>) merupakan tumbuhan berupa <a href="http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pohon" title="Pohon">pohon</a> yang berasal dari kepulauan <a href="http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banda" title="Banda">Banda</a>, <a href="http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maluku" title="Maluku">Maluku</a>. Akibat nilainya yang tinggi sebagai <a href="http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rempah-rempah" title="Rempah-rempah">rempah-rempah</a>, <a href="http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buah" title="Buah">buah</a> dan <a href="http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biji" title="Biji">biji</a> pala telah menjadi komoditi perdagangan yang penting sejak masa <a href="http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romawi" title="Romawi">Romawi</a>. Pala disebut-sebut dalam ensiklopedia karya <a href="http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plinius" title="Plinius">Plinius</a> "Si Tua". Semenjak zaman eksplorasi Eropa pala tersebar luas di daerah tropika lain seperti <a href="http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mauritius" title="Mauritius">Mauritius</a> dan <a class="mw-redirect" href="http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karibia" title="Karibia">Karibia</a> (<a class="new" href="http://id.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Pulau_Grenada&action=edit&redlink=1" title="Pulau Grenada (halaman belum tersedia)">Pulau Grenada</a>). Istilah <b>pala</b> juga dipakai untuk biji pala yang diperdagangkan.<br />
Tumbuhan ini berumah dua (<i>dioecious</i>) sehingga dikenal pohon jantan dan pohon betina. Daunnya berbentuk elips langsing. Buahnya berbentuk lonjong seperti <a class="mw-redirect" href="http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lemon" title="Lemon">lemon</a>, berwarna kuning, berdaging dan beraroma khas karena mengandung <a href="http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minyak_atsiri" title="Minyak atsiri">minyak atsiri</a> pada daging buahnya. Bila masak, kulit dan daging buah membuka dan biji akan terlihat terbungkus fuli yang berwarna merah.
